  1. Well, you don't play torrents. It's just a way to download files. A torrent is like a playlist of files that you're going to download. You need a program like utorrent to actually download the file.

  2. yea what the guy say

  3. Torrents are the same as any other download. You download an initial file--a tracker file of sorts--that allows you to connect to the torrent network. In order to do this, you need to open the torrent file with something like BitTorrent or Azureus or one of the other hundreds of available programs.

The beauty of torrenting is that it allows you to connect to many (even hundreds) of users at the same time, and allows you to simultaneously upload and download pieces of the file. In this way, even users who have not completely finished downloading the whole song/movie/etc. can send data to you--drastically decreasing download times for large files.

Once the file is actually downloaded, you can play it as usual with any media player, depending on its format.

  4. you download them and then you open them with whatever bit file you have

then just open like any other file

  5. you have to have a torrent client like µTorrent to download the torrent file and then you open the file once it has downloaded in Windows Media Player or whatever

  6. Find where you DLed the TV show and drag it (or unzip it first) to your Windows Media Player :)
