  1. A: put your 2nd,3rd+4th fingers on the 2nd,3rd+4th strings (counting from the top), all in the 2nd fret.

    C is far too complicated to explain. look at the link.

  2. 1) Pluck the A string, or one of the 10 other locations on the fretboard where the "A" tone is Present.

    2) Fret the 3rd fret on the 5th string for a C, or one of the other 10 locations on the fretboard where the "C" tone is present.

  3. A notes: 5 O 7 2 10  5

    C notes: 8 3 10 5 1  8

    There are more, but the above will get you the A and the C notes with their different pitches.

    C: X32O1O
