  2. If you want to teach your nan how to play, why do you need us to tell you how to play it and where they move? Shouldnt you already know it yourself if your going to teach her??

  3. ehh dont its borin

  4. It is fairly easy to learn the names of the pieces and how each piece moves, but it takes a lot of practice to become a good player.  Here are a couple of links that should help you.  Also check to see if any of your friends know how to play and is willing to help you a little.  Set up a board in your house and play solitaire chess for practice.  These links will give you the basics.  You might also want to check at your library or a bookstore for a good beginner's book on chess.  Best of luck and have fun!

  5. I don't really know the name(cuz im 12 years old).But I really won when I challenge my dad...

  6. There's a king, queen, 2 bishops, 2 knights and 2 rooks(castles). The king is the piece you're trying to protect from youre opponent. It can only move 1 space. The queen can move in any direction and as many squares as you want(if there isn't anything in front) as long as it's a straight line. The bishops move diagonnally, he knights move in an "L" pattern: 2 steps forward, one step left. The rook moves in a straight line.
