As already posted, www.playmagic.com is a good place to start. Also, there are numerous training videos by actual wizards of the coast employees, and pro-players available on youtube.com.

Going to your local gaming store might be a help as well, just be careful if someone you don't know starts making suggestions on the value of cards or try to sell you anything, it might be an attempt to rip you off.
