  1. KKII doesn't know what she is talking about and she is coping repeat answers to score first answer points....But, anyway. You need an AV (Audio Video) cord, Which is the cord that is Red, white, Yellow. Apple has one that you can get and it has a remote. The remote isn't that great though, but they can be expensive. I got one at Kmart, I cant remember the brand name of it but it was black. It had a small black box looking part that plugged into the ipod and an AV cord that plugged into that via a mic plug. If you have the current generation ipod that plays h.264 and mp4, i.e. ipod classic, then you cant use the mic jack on the ipod. The previous gen Ipod videos could send the AV through the mic jack but the newer ipods wont work that way you need a plug that will connect into the ipod in the same manner as the USB cord does, on the bottom of the ipod. Now if you don't have a Classic or an older video ipodI'mm not 100% sure if they also must go through the bottom or if you can go through the mic jack. You'll need to ask, the guys at best buy always seem to know or radio shack may know. I would look at kmart first, then Walmart. Look for an IPOD A/V CORD. Like I said you can get them from apple bygoingg to there site but they are more expensive and they'll do the same thing. You can also try ebay. Ipod Accessories are pretty cheap on Ebay. I got one for $15.
