  1. <>While the basis of almost any pool game is to knock the balls into the pockets to score points or position, the games are as varied as leaves on a tree.  Here are some game rules sites:

  2. get the balls in the hole

  3. Depends on the game and where you are playing!  The two most played are eight ball and nine ball!  The bar rules for eight ball is what ever type of ball is hit in first is the kind of ball that person hits until all those balls are gone then you hit the eight ball to win!  The thing is though you must call your last shot!  (pick the pocket it is going to fall in.                                                                                                                                   You can also win this game by making the eight ball in first which rarely happen but from time to time you get lucky.  Also when racking the table you always alternate the solids and the stripes and the eight ball is always placed in the center!  I know to little about nine ball, but really all you need to do is visit a pool hall and in a half an hour of watching you'll pick it up. ..  Hope this answers your question. . . hope you pick up the game!

  4. Simplest game in the world all you have to do is get the ball in the pocket...Hahahahaha

  5. To make all of your balls before your opponent does, whether you are stripes or solid.  It's all about finesse and power and where you leave the cue ball after making, missing or setting up your next shot.  Every shot on a pool table is makeable if you can "see" your object ball.  A good way to learn is to stand behind the ball you are trying to make and put the pool stick down directly behind it to see the angle you need to hit with the cue ball.  Also, stay down on your shots and follow through.  Do not hit and raise up, or this will cause inconsistency.  It's all about angles and setting up your next shots.  Whether hitting low on the cue ball and drawing it back or hitting top middle, left or right and making the cue ball move in the direction that you want.
