How do you plug in ipod in mini cooper?

and are all mini coopers able to play ipods or do you have to buy something? please help

There are three ways to listen to your iPod in a Mini.

1.  The iPod adaptor which allows you to plug your pod directly into the stereo controls.  This is an extra option from Mini.

2.  AUX cable.  This will also have to be added.

3.  One of those FM transmitters that fit onto your pod, and it broad casts through your stereo.  Not very good in my opinion.
