How do you poison a torrent?

I've found a torrent that somebody posted, and it contained some musical work of mine, and I didn't give any permission to do so. I would like to poison it and all future torrents to keep people from downloading it illegally, since the staff won't do anything about it.

first of all how did it get there? are you somewhat famous?

you could post a comment saying it has a nasty virus in it. that outta stop some from downloading

You can't actually taint it. But you CAN report it to whoever is providing trackers for it.

Well I suppose a way to provide bad data is to download the torrent, and replace the files inside it with equally sized yet butchered sound files. If you were to seed after this you could possibly send these files to anyone downloading the torrent.
