How do you pop a bicycle chain off?

im trying to pop a chain off a bike and put on anthor bike there both the same size.there mountain bikes.

there should be a link on the chain that allows you to remove it without taking the tires off, it will have two pieces one part will slide back it holds the inside link in place.

Usually you'll need a tool called a chain breaker any bike shop will have them. You can try separating the master link by trying to push it and the link next to it together but generally they'll be too tight.

In your place I would go out and get another chain because putting a chain already worn in by the gears of one bike onto another will most certainly result in poor shifting and skipping when the chain is on the smaller sprockets.
