  1. Idk bout a 600 but i just gotta roll the throttle back, but that cause I drive a 1,000. Pop the clutch, but go a little at a time making sure u dont give it to much throttle and alway cover the rear brake.

  2. the answers above are all wrong, when you are in 3rd gear, you need to gas it all the way and change to 4th which throws your front tire up and kicks you into a wheelie, but be sure to not be leaning back too much or you'll fall, one of my tricks is if you feel like you are going to fall back, hit the back wheel brake which makes the bike go forward =]

    and also practice alot.

  3. pull it up and then accelerate

  4. the same way you did on your bike

  5. Get it going kinda fast and then pull back kinda hard -

  6. Well the falling off part I can't help you with. You will have to gain your balance to keep from falling off. But to pop a wheelie you have to gas it hard enough to pull the front wheel up and let gravity do the rest. If you want to ride a slow paced wheelie you need to an equal balance of throttle and rear brake. Good Luck

  7. Gas it and lean back but not too far

  8. carefully

  9. You don't if you have a l**k of sense.

  10. you got to get the rpms to the powerband  then just punch it,  or downshift.  the hardest part is letting yourself do it!!!  its all about the fear or dumping the bike,  cause the faster you go, the easier the wheelie is to do!!!

  11. Don't do it at all.  You can break your neck and be a paraplegic for life!!  Find a safer way to show off.

  12. same way you do on anything else. you either get it going kinda fast and pull up on the handlebars while leaning kinda back. or if you arent moving give it a bunch of gas and pull up really hard.

what i like to do but isnt so good for it is go into like second or third gear while im not moving. hold the clutch in and give it kinda alot of gas. then you let go of the clutch and it pops up for you. i dont think thats so good for the bike though and it jerks you alot.

you probably will bust your as s a few times trying though.

  13. I don't know I tried to on a moped once and I fell on my @$$....

  14. Dude, post this in the NONE RACING section, you will get proper feedback.

N.B. Nail it in first and let the clutch out. This way you will fail off the back and really hurt yourself. With any luck you will break your fingers and then you wont be able to ask stupid questions like this one.

    Thanks for coming...........................

  15. sit far on the back and gun it.

  16. takes practice mate, get it in 3rd put your clutch in while moving give it a rev and drop the clutch it will lift then if you feel you are going to flip it just ease off the accelerator a bit and rev while the front wheel is starting to drop again

  17. The safest way (there is no purely safe way):

Start off in first, and then when you get to a bit above walking pace, gun the throttle  After about a second, you'll feel the front wheell getting lighter.  That may do for a first attempt.  Then try again, but keep the throttle open a bit longer, and the front wheel will come up of the ground. It scares you the first time, and you may only get the wheel up for a second, and only up a foot or so (it feels like a lot more!), before you instinctively throttle off.  Then practice.  The good guys wheelie by popping the clutch, as other answerers have noted.

The reason I learnt that, was to know what it felt like, so I didn't panic if I did it by accident, taking off at the lights (I ride an Aprilia, which are easy to wheelie).

This is RELATIVELY safe, because if you overdo it, you'll hit the rev limiter, and the wheel will come down again.  Also: how to kill a wheelie?  Throttle off, or appply the rear brake (obviously, the front brake will have no effect).  I've also seen guys experience tank slappers, coming down off a wheelie.  Very frightening to see, let alone experience.

Also, do this on a track or closed road.  You can get picked up for dangerous riding by doing a wheelie on a public road.
