How do you post up a website with different search engines?

Question

I've made a website and I want it to be listed with Yahoo & Google. Sometimes it comes up when I search the subject of the website and sometimes it doesn't...is there a way to make sure my listing is being found every time it's searched on Yahoo & Google?

There's a good guide to increase your traffic here: http://traffic-tips-and-tricks.blogspot.... The tips described there are quite simple but very effective.Check out tip number 5, it will help you rank high on search engines in a relatively small amount of time.

And if you're willing to invest some time into it you should also consider reading the book "Guerrilla Marketing" by Jay Conrad Levinson, it tells you a lot of practical and effective ways to market your business for very little or no money at all.

Find people who will put a link to you on their site, in return for you linking them on your site.

Find ways to advertise your site - can you post your site on bulletin boards, for example?
