  1. depends on the level of politeness

    ja nai

    ja arimasen

    de wa arimasen

    these all mean, it is not, with increasing level of politeness.  As in, it is not a dog.  or it is not a hamburger.

    Chigaimasu means, it is incorrect.

  2. Kun son Nee

  3. Basic: そうじゃない。 (sou ja nai.)

    (sou) -> it is

    (ja nai) -> not

    Other commonly used: 違う。 (chigau.) -> although this one literally means "different", it is understood that "it is not".

    (here come the thumbs down, yahoo!)

  4. She SHe Knee ... Chris TUcker said that in rush hour, thats how you say it yooo

  5. i need context. plz e-mail me if you have time to edit context.

    normally we say

    it is not!

    =chigauyo!

  6. Iie, Machigatta-yo
