I am running my first race tomorrow night at 630pm and it's the Nike+ 10K. How should I prepare before the race? As in, what should I eat and drink? How much rest? Should I do a light jog in the morning?

  1. I'm doing it too but in LA! You're probably running already but basically you should just rest until the race, and then for like 10-15 minutes before hand walk around or jog a bit to warm things up. You'll be fine!

    Easy Fix:

Include a 15-minute warmup before the race, and a 15-minute cooldown afterward, says Carmichael. For both, mix walking and jogging to help ease into and out of your race pace.

  2. ok well i know  have a stupid name and i look girly, but I'm a great sport. ok you can eat spaghetti, and drink water. you need a rest after eating, and a jogging the morning is great.

good luck, and please get back to me, when you have the results.

    you'll do great,
