  3. I think steak has a unique flavor that can be ruined with overseasoning.

My go to is to marinate the steaks in Zesty italian dressing for 2-3 hours.  Them, bring the steaks out of the fridge and let sit for 30 minutes or so to take the chill off.  Putting cold cold meat on a hot cooking surface can shock it and make it tough.

Then I season liberally with salt and fresh cracked pepper.

I either put it on my George Forman inside for a few minutes (cook time depends on thickness of steak) or on the grill outside.

    Best wishes and happy dishes.

  4. I marinate mine in minces garlic. you can buy it in a jar in the produce section.  with teriyaki sauce forat least 1 hour prior to grilling.  then grill the steaks with salt and pepper.  serve with parmisian mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus.

I start with a thick (at least one inch) rib eye or New York strip steak.  I heat my grill to 600F, put the steak on the grill, sprinkle with some garlic powder and sea salt, close the grill, cook for six minutes on each side. Fantastic, medium rare, very tender, wonderful.  I'm getting hungry.
