  1. Fleas bite humans, you can't prevent that.  You must get rid of the fleas by calling the exterminator in!

  2. kill them!!!

  3. by killing the fleas :)

  4. If  you have inside pets, dip them in the flea bath.  Fleas can cause your pet to get worms.  Fumigate your home every three to six months as needed.   In Texas the sand fleas are terrible, along with the p**s ants.

  5. Good flea bombs are the best. Once fleas are in you're house, and they're biting you, you can try to coat yourself with "OFF" or something similar, though I don't know how effective that will be. Prevention is best. If you have cats or dogs, treat them with something like Frontline. There are several products like it, and they work better than flea collars. If you live near the ocean or an inlet, watch out for sand fleas too.

  6. you bomb the house then the flees should all die

  7. Here are some natural home remedies that work if the infestation isn't too bad.  I especially think the borax and lemon scented dawn work real well.

The key is to treat your animals and home as quickly as possible.  We live by the beach and have lots of sand so there are lots of fleas in the area.  I vacuum every single day and treat all my animals every month.  I'm saving my money to get wood floors throughout the house because I think carpets are a breeding ground.

  8. Well, you need to have a flea free animal first! That will help you get less flea bites! If you get a flea bite then the your doctor can give you a cream to help the itching and healing.

  9. To prevent fleas from biting you, they now have flea armbands similar to that of a flea collar for a cat, but are not toxic to your skin. These are not natural, they are composed of chemicals.

AS for getting them out of your house, I know that fleas naturally are repelled by cedar. Citronella also repels them quite effectively. You could try lighting a bunch of citronella candles in your house. You'd have to make sure the house doesn't burn down, but I'd think it's worth a try, opposed to hundreds of dollars for a toxic bomb go off in your house.

    Hope it helps!
