How do you prevent headaches working in hot conditions, even when I'm constantly drinking water.?

  1. the problem may be that your body is not absorbing the water your putting in it. try to eat some pretzels or saltine crackers but dont over do it. you need the sodium in those foods to help retain water but to much could dehydrate you worse.

  2. Wear a hat! Straw preferably,with a moist dew rag tied round your head or inside your hat...a broad-brimmed hat..you can buy electrolytic powders from the supermarket..cheaper that way..dissolve..and put them in your freezer overnight..take them out before work..wrap them in a towel..and they'll be ready about the time you need them.

  3. There are different kinds of headaches. One is the result of cramping of the muscles in the cranial arteries, much like a charlie horse in the leg, which comes from low electrolyte levels. It is possible that by drinking too much water, that you are leaching much needed minerals. One thing that might help is drinking half Gatorade. Another would be to take a balanced program of nutritional supplements.

  4. Get lots of sleep.
