  1. Get the frogs that some one was trying to get rid of. The frogs will eat the mosquitos.  Or was that you?

  2. Is this a permanent pool or like a kids/inflatable one?

Either way, get a pool cover or a tarp that can fit tight over it.

If it is a permanent one: you can find various insecticides at any place that sells pool parts or chemicals.  Keeping the water moving will help too, but mosquitos aren't dumb.  If that is the only place they can lay eggs, they will still go for it.

If it is a kids/inflatable pool: empty out the pool and scrub it down.  Fill with clean water and keep it covered.

  3. I use a product called "Mosquito Dunks" manufactured by Summit Chemical Co. These are for standing water, if a pool is in use and the pump is working they shouldn't be laying there. I would put the pool off limits, put in the dunks, kill the larvae, and then get the pool going again.

And I also answered your frog question, the frogs will hopefully be gone by the time the mosquitoes hatch. if not well . . . .

  4. Keep air circulating through the water by pumping it, and keep the chlorine levels at normal.
