How do you prevent split ends?

well, there's not really much you can do to prevent split ends... but i use mane n tail horse shampoo, and i havent cut my hair ALL summer and i still have no split ends. my hair is longer, stronger, and alot healthier. it works very good.

yea. you can get them at a walmart. there usually at the pet aisle. and yes, they are safe to use on human hair. i use it for my hair and i love it. it gives a good shine.

Get it cut often.I have seen some capsules you can take but I have never tried them so I don't know whether they work.Have a look a boots (uk) or somewhere they might have some products to deep condition the hair.And use heat protection spray.

nothing takes care of split ends but trimming every 6-8 weeks. now if you lay off the chemicals and heat you can go longer. if your hair is thin i would not recommend mane & tail. tends to weigh hair down. pantene is an ok drugstore shampoo. personally i like biotera. you can get it at beauty supply stores such as sally. now if you must blow dry and flat iron or whatever, make sure you use product made for that to protect the hair and hold the style. go to the salon for a consult and they can explain a little more and gove advice.
