How do you program an RCA Universal Remote without a Code Searh button?

The model number is CRK70Q1. There is no Code search button and I can not find directions to program it to my TV/DVD combo unit.

RCA universal remotes that don't have a "code search" button apparently use a different code list than newer RCA remotes. Follow the following steps in order to program an RCA universal remote without a code search button. Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote and look for the model number.Press and hold the TV button on the remote. Enter the code for your brand of TV into the remote while continuing to hold the TV button down, Release the TV button, Change the channel to see if this has worked. In order to search a code Turn on the component you want to program. Press and hold both the button for the component along with the power button until the light comes on and stays on. Press the play button every 5 seconds until the device turns off. Press the rewind/reverse button to see if it turns off/on again. Press and hold the stop button until the light goes off. This saves the code.
