How do you promote groups without it being spam?

We have a great parenting group and our group is doing really good but I would like to know how to reach out to other's without any type of disrespect or spam?Thank You

add the URL to your mail signature and all profiles you may have-

create other free web pages related to your group topic and add the promote code to that site, which will direct people to your Yahoo group-

your group is only near two months old, summer times is a hard time to gain members- just be patient. more member will join.

Send a polite e-mail to other parents you know, including a description and the web address (URL) of the Group's home page, and invite them to join.  Post a message to your Group inviting other members to do the same if they like the Group (esp. if they want it to grow and get advice from more parents).
