XD. is it Lah-poo or lay-poo or lay-puh, just a simple thing like that would be great. Best answer will be the most straightforward one.

I'm studying Magellan and I don't want to mess up if we read aloud in class. Thanks!

  1. Well Indonesian has similar pronunciation so i would say that Lapu is pronounced

    L

A (this is a deep 'a' sound similar to the 'a' car)

    P

U (this is most likely a short sounded 'u' like in the English word 'put')

  2. Its pronounced as it is written  with emphasis on intonation

Lapu LAHpoo (slight rise  for LAH)

    HuMAHbon (slight rise in MAH)

    Hope this helps.
