How do you pronounce Solange Knowles first name?

I was just reading all the crud about Solange apparently being rude, blah blah blah. I don't really care about that, but one of the posters said her name was ugly. Beyonce is kind of a strange name too, we have just grown used to it. So since I was reading it I don't know how Solange is pronounced. Hope I am even spelling it right. Can you try to spell out the sounds to me if you know. I am guessing it is like Sew-Lawn-Jay. Is that right?

She heres the people a lot of people say differently I used to think it was the way you say it as well. But I have seen or on a couple of TV shows, More recently The Charlotte Church Show[British TV Show] and Charlotte introduced her as So-Longe so I am now guessing thats the way its pronounced.
