How do you pronounce peptidyl?

Pep-tid-il.  You soften the "i" sound from "peptide" when you add the suffix "yl" in my experience from what my lecturers say.

I hate it when you read a word and end up mispronouncing it for ages before you realise and then have to re-learn! lol

I've always pronounced it as in Pep-tide-al but other people say it like Pep-tid-al.
