How do you pronounce......?

Gallant?

I've always pronounced it "gall-ant"

But everyone else pronounces it "guh-launt"

Is "gall-ant" not correct at all? Or does it not matter?

  1. Either is OK; for a verb, the second is better, though.  Otherwise, I'd not worry about it.


  2. i would say gallant (like you) although it is probably just to do with where in the country u r from. like some people say scone (like stone) and some people say scone (like gone)
