  2. I can't really be precise,

    but capital R is like saying "arrrr"

    it's like the alphabet goes

    Q R S

    Q = pronounced like 'queue'

    R = pronounced like 'are'

    S = pronounced like 'ess'

    they're just examples

    but the letter R, just say outloud ' arrr '

  3. It's a"liquid" consonant-which means there's a free passage of air through the mouth and the sound is produced by the shape of the "air chamber"-point your tongue at the roof of your mouth then pull the tip down to the back of your teeth-w and l are also liquids,if you listen to the 3 sounds and practice switching back and forth youll eventually get the hang of it..

  4. The word "are"

    In Ireland, it sounds more like "or"

  5. The English "r" is defined linguistically as an "alveolar approximant".  It is pronounced by bringing the tongue close to, but not touching, the alveolar ridge; and them letting a stream of air pass through the mouth, with the vocal cords vibrating.

    Here's a link to a description along with a sound file:

  6. 1. Open you mouth

    2. Stick you the back of you tongue to you throat and pronuciate

    It doesn't matter if you role you r because that's really attractive.
