I saw the name in the book "Timeline" by Michael Crighton and wanted to know how to say it. Thank you!

  1. Dordoñ if you know Spanish. the last e is silent.


  2. "Door- doh-nyeh"

    Door= pronounce like the word door but with a French "r" (which is uvular, in the throat.)

    doh= pronounced like "dough" nut, or Homer Simpson's saying "doh!"

    nyeh = pronounced nasal - an n sound and then "yeh" like the beginning of "yes"
