  1. That is name is not German at all, I am German and I can spot out a German name easy. That name is Polish, the surname is probably to someone who is Polish and moved to Germany. It is a common surname in Poland though and I have no clue how to speak Polish, I just know it isn't German and it looks Eastern European.

  2. Is that a surname? It's certainly no first name.

Seems to be of Eastern European origin, I'd pronounce it Krehs-tsents. Could also be Kreh-shents, depending on the origin.

ETA: omg, that is really a girls' name?

Who would do that to their child? It says it means growth and is of Bavarian origin (what else, lol). Don't use this, please. It's terrible. And since it is German, the Krehs-tsents  pronunciation would be correct.

  3. I would think it would be like Cres-centuis
