    The /Ã¥/ vowel is a long, low, back, rounded vowel, similar to /a/ but with rounded lips.

    The name Kadi is not a very common Norwegian name (the website lists it was being used less than 3 times in Norway). If it is pronounced 'normally' than the <k> is pronounced 'hard' like /k/ in English 'Kate'. If you want to hear something similar, go to the female name page (second listing below) and click on "KARI". The only difference would be that the /r/ in Kari must have a /d/ sound -- tongue tap behind the upper teeth.
