How do you pronounce these words ?

They are names of places, metro stations etc, in Barcelona :

1) Eixample

2) Montjuïc

3) Casa Battlo

4) Sagrada Familia

5) Passeig De Gràcia

6) Catalunya

7) Jaume I

8) Provenca

9) Diagonal

10) Las Ramblas

This is rather difficult if you are not into Catalan.

Have a look on the web for Catalan pronunciation for 1,2,3,5,

6, 7, and 8.

The rest are Spanish.

I lived in barcelona and I had to pick up on a lot of these workds and yea, some of the words are no spanish.

Eixample, the x is pronounces like sh so it kinda sounds like eshample. Montjuic is prounounced how its spelled. Battlo is pronounced bat-lo( like bot from bottle).

Sagrada Familia, Diagonal, Las Ramblas and Provenca are spanish i think. Passeig, the g is pronounced like the G in george, the rest is like spanish. Calatalunya, the lunya is like luna, but the n should be pronounced like the n in la nina. 7, i wanna say is pronounced how its spelled, kinda french like, not really sure.

I would guess according to the regular Spanish pronunciation...but I can't demonstrate by typing, so the best thing to do would be to find a person from Spain to pronounce these words for you where you can hear them.  

Spanish from Mexico is different in pronunciation from Spanish from Spain.
