How do you properly install a Window A/C?

Summer is around the corner along with that hot hot heat. Our family needs to know on how to properly install a window A/C. LIke what need to look for and when you know it is properly in. Also if there are any other ways to know if your A/C works that would be helpful. Thank you.

the ac unit comes with directions if you follow them carefully you should be OK.it is not really hard you put the ac in the window to fit push the sliders over so no air gets out it has screws that come with the ac so you can s***w the top to the window so not to fall.but i just shut the window to fit onto the ac i do not want to put screws in my window.that's basically it the directions will tell you what to do you should be OK.

Check your local supplier. THey will be the best people to advise on model, capacity, and so on. Pretty obviously you know it is working when it is cool indoors and hot outdoors.
