  1. get out your gun and shoot them when deer are on your property they are considered trespassers and you can kill them without any worries

  2. would pigs help to keep them away?

i know they work well against foxes.

  3. Many nurseries now offer sprays with diluted urine from predators such as large cats.It is used around rose gardens as well.

Living rural, we also bury dog or wolf skat along the perimiter of fencing. This has worked with our elk problem as well.

The scent of another animals territory does help deter unwanted "guests".

Fencing needs to be rather high.Planted t-posts with fencing offers the ability to also connect additional fencing to add height to enclosure.

    Good luck.

  4. you put up a fence that is tall enough so the deer can't jump it.

  5. land mines (no just kidding )i think there is a fregrance that you can you that only the deer can smell (i might be wrong about ,i read about it in a hunting magazine ).

  6. You can actually buy coyote urine and put it in the garden--our local greenhouse carries it with containers you can place in the garden.  Since coyotes are predators of deer, they keep their distance.  It also works on rabbits.

  7. Other than a fence, there is a spray on pepper wax that coats everything (deer aren't supposed to like hot peppers so much).  Plant marigolds around in the garden (no kidding!, I've tried & it works great!).  The bitter smell is strong and deer, rabbits, mice, etc won't go near a marigold.  Also human hair works sprinkled around the garden.  When you are cleaning out your hairbrush throw it around on the ground here and there and that keeps them away too (sounds gross but my bro in law swears by it).
