How do you publish something to your computer?

I'm just wondering because I saw a Question and someone suggested publishing it to your computer.

What option is publishing and how do you access it on a Dell computer?

Publish 'to your computer' doesn't make sense. To Publish is like: to issue (printed or otherwise reproduced textual or graphic material, computer software, etc.) for sale or distribution to the public.  You can use your computer to get something ready to publish with a program like Microsoft Publisher by which you can design a cover, the layout and all that sort of thing, then print it out or upload it to somewhere.  Does that help or give us more info.

I'm not sure what you mean by publishing, some of the question here means, just saving it to your hard disk or exporting some data to their computer or saving it to their computer in different format.

Update - What your referring to is Windows Movie Maker, I think i also answered that question before, go to File > Publish Movie in Windows Movie Maker to export it as WMV file.
