  1. acoil on bottom blower above it negative flow needs a p-trap or needs blow hole covered

  2. THE SOUND YOU ARE HEARING IS THE CONDENSATION LINE. IF ITS NOT STOPPED UP AND NOT CAUSING ANY PROBLEMS,JUST LET IT GURGLE,WONT HURT A THING.BUT IF IT IS CAUSING A PROBLEM,,,,WELL,,THATS ANOTHER QUESTION  HUH??

  3. I take it that it is a new sound you haven't heard before so something has changed.

Probably coming from the condensate drain of the indoor coil.

Water may be building up because of a restricted drain line.

Also if you have an handler or heat pump a restricted air filter could have an effect on the drain causing air to be pulled through the trap.

  4. The noise is coming from one of two places, first if you hear a gulping sound from the drain line this line needs a trap to keep the indoor fan from sucking water up the drain line. If you hear noise from the 3/8 copper line at the air handler put your ear near it, this sound is due to gas flashing into vapor in the liquid line and the answer is low on freon.
