How do you put Downloads onto your site for other people to download?

What are you looking for people to download?  Most files will either download or open in the users browser.

If you want someone to be able to download an mp3, give the following link:

<a href="http://www.examplesite.com/audio/d... for song.mp3!</a>

You may want to also give a little note on the site that says "Right click and 'Save Link As...' to save mp3"

I'm not sure about the way to put the file you want other people to download right ON your website...

However, there's another solution you can use...

Upload the file(s) to a free online storage website such as www.adrive.com (i use it for backup and for the same thing you want to do). the storage space is 50GB and it's all free... just sign up quickly.

then, just put the download link on your website and there you go... others can download the stuff easily.
