  1. You can't, only .txt files can go on your iPod.

    You have to enable disk use and drag the .txt file into the "Notes" folder.

    Unless you mean just for storage (not reading on the iPod), then just drag the file (any type of file) into the iPod after enabling disk use and it'll work like a flash drive or other storage device.
