  1. If you go to the iTunes Store there is a section for television shows.  You could download anything they have available and then hook up your iPod to the computer the same as if you were going to add Music to your iPod.

  2. Don't buy off iTunes. Can't you see what they are doing?

I had the same problem a while ago. You have to convert your file to MP4. It's the only way to do it other than buying from the store.

Try to find a free trial or copy of MP4 converter. See the link for the type of software it is.

I have two iPod's and they are c**p compared to my Creative Zen MP3.

iPod/iTunes has clever marketing and are trying to monopolize the market and force you into buying from their store. Want proof, have a look at the Macbook Air - No CD/DVD drive WTF. So, any files you keep have to be on a jump drive. But any movies have to be bought unless you have a handy 5gig USB?

Buy Creative next time and you will not have this problem. The software comes free with the product to convert to your player.

    Good luck.

  3. 1. Buy them from the iTunes store which is easier but of course costs money.

    2. If you have a video file you want to convert to iPod format, try this guide: http://www.daniusoft.com/tutorial/play-i...

Although they recommend a somewhat unknown converter is this guide, if you know you're stuff I'd suggest using WinAVI iPod Converter, or VisualHub if you're on a Mac.

  4. If you have your own content already in another format, your best bet is to use a program to convert it into an iPod compatible format.  I would reccomend:

    SUPER: http://www.erightsoft.org/GetFile.php?SU...

    or

    Videora iPod: http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/i...

These will do the conversion.  Just import the converted files into your iTunes library and sync with your iPod!

If you are willing to purchase content, use the iTunes store to purchase and sync.
