  1. why would you want to lift that car??  Well if monster cars are your thing, You would have to start unbolting the body mounts and use a lift source to separate the body from the frame. You must pay attention to things that connect the body to the frame as well to not strech or break anything. For instance, You probably should unbolt the steering shaft from the Power steering box. Also pay close attention to what wires are going to be affected and probably have to lengthen them. The good thing is that in a  1977 car, There is not that much you can not see with out taking a good look at everything

  2. A blue nose wrench and a welder.

  3. Ummm..   5 inches is actually a lot for small truck, let alone a car.

Unless your pretty good at custom fabrication, your going to run into many issues.   I also don't know of anybody who would even make a kit for a 77 Buick of any model.

Everything is going to have to be made custom, or maybe you'll get lucky and find universal parts.

I'm sure if you search the net and ask around you'll find the air shocks, but a lift is another story.

  4. Why the h**l would you want to lift a 77 buick?  You must have more money then brains.

  5. i am pretty sure you are going to need more parts... like drive shaft, steering linkage, and a plethora of other things before you can even drive it again

My best suggestion is, if you are serious about lifting it, is to take it to a shop that specializes in this.

and if you want to reduce the overall costs, then I would suggest that you would be willing to let them have a sticker or something on your Buick so that it can be 'advertisement' otherwise, get ready to give them your pocketbook for awhile

  6. WTF?   Why?

  7. to answer your question exactly as you asked, there is no "lift kit" for this. you're going to have to pay someone a lot of money to do it for you, because the fact that you asked this question tells me you know nothing about automobiles, much less how to fabricate custom parts.
