  1. you go to itunes and download it on your ipod.. it takes an hour though but its worth it!

  2. You can't its illegal!

  3. Assuming that you have it on dvd you'll need dvd ripper. Search for Freez dvd ripper, install it, and ripp dvd to .avi file. Now go to www.any-video-converter.com download the trial version and install it. Press add video icon, browse for that movie and select it. Now select profile: CUSTOM MP4 in the profile settings you must only change codec to x264, resolution to (ipod touch 480x320) or ( classic and nano 240x320) and bitrate to 1000. If you want the best sound, set audio bitrate to highest bitrate.

    Press encode button.

This proces lasts about 1,5 hours. Output file should be somewhere around 700 mb. And if the movie is aready on computer, you don't need to download and install ripper.

  4. You'll want to download Handbrake. Handbrake is the best software for ripping DVDs. It's free, available for Mac or Windows, and has built in iPod settings.

The Apple Mentor website has a good tutorial on how to use the software and a link on where to download it:

  5. You can handbrake it using a free application from the internet. You can just google it and it's like in the first three links. It does take a really long time though to do it, just to warn you.

  6. also they have to be mp4 other wise it wont work there some programs that you can converted to mp4

  10. I love that movie.

Anyway, use Handbrake (search Google). After downloading it, all you have to do is set it to the iPod format (there are two, iPod Low Res and iPod High Res, both are preset and will work on your iPod) and rip it. Then you drag it to Movies in iTunes and sync your iPod. If you did everything right, it'll work.

  11. A lot of free converters, if they don't have a proper decoder and encoder attached will do a hatchet job to make it work.

I have iSkysoft dvd to iPod converter and it does a decent job. It probably takes 30 minutes to rip a full-length movie with sound and picture quality set to maximum. The iSkysoft  DVD to iPod converter is $29.
