1. Sorry, I'm not sure where to put this question but this is what I thought it could be in.

2. How do I put "." after "etc." when there is already a period? For example, " ... she loves to play with her hair, etc." How do I end it? I could put an exclamtion point after it I suppose but it's not as formal as I need it. So how do I do that?

I hope this question makes sense. Because making sense is not exactly a talent of mine. =P Thanks in advance!

  1. You don't it's just "etc." lol this made me laugh.

  2. When used at the end of a sentence, the period after an abbreviated word also counts as the period at the end of the sentence, just like you typed it.  If it is used mid-sentence, you use a comma after the abbreviated word.  Example:  "She loves to play with her hair, etc., but it drives me nuts."
