★★Sign into Flickr with your Yahoo!ID and password 2 upload your photos.

For your foto avatar go to your profile, click "edit my info", set up a 360° page, load up a pic (it has to be a .jpg, preferrably 48x48 pixels), mark "set as primary", click "preview" and then "okay"! If you don't know how to resize a pic, don't worry, Yahoo will still show it in an appropiate size.

To link to a picture when posting a question or answer, go to the website or pic on the website that you want to link to and open it. The url will be displayed in your browser window, click into it, thereby marking it. Copy the url, now you can insert it in your question or answer. Make sure you have a blank space before and after the url, otherwise it won't be clickable!

If you want to link to a pic which you have saved on your computer, you must get a free account with Flickr for example (belongs to Yahoo), upload your pic and then proceed as described above.

To put a personal pic or your avatar on Y!A, go to your Y!A profile and select the personal settings that you want (either the Yahoo 360 picture or the Avatar) [Note - If you do not have a Yahoo 360 profile, you will have to create one first in order for people to be able to view your personal picture.]

To create and customize your avatar, go to your yahoo messenger main menu and click on:

Messenger > My Display Image > Share My Avatar > Customize

This will bring up the window for the avatar homepage, from there you can create and customize your avatar to look how ever you want. Don't forget to click on "Save" when you are done creating it.
