How do you put a shock absorber on a tennis racket?

I have a babolat drive z lite and a gamma shock absorber and i cannot get the shock absorber on. how do i get it on?

  1. It's really hard, but do you want all of that extra weight?  They were designed for automobiles weighing a ton, and on your racket it will feel like a ton when you swing!


  2. i find that an excellent shock absorber is a half a tennis ball, strapped to the bottom of the racket.

    try it out, youll be amazed.


  3. doesnt it have to be laced up when the racket is being strung.

  4. First of all, they do not weight a ton and do not affect your swing. And now to answer the question: There are many different styles of shock absorbers, the easiest way to put it in is to take on of the edges of the absorber and stick it in one of the strings, then by using your fingers, split the other side or the absorber and stick it under the next string so the 2 strings that it is attached to are pulling it closed.

  5. They are a pain in the neck to put on and sometimes they pop off during play. I just use a rubber band like Agassi sometimes used or I use nothing.
