  3. Some typewriter keyboards have accent keys that are "dead" keys, i.e. the carriage doesn't move when you type so that the next letter is typed under the accent.

  5. holding Ctrl and Alt on my keyboard and pressing a vowel turns out like á é í ó and ú... I put the two dots above an O (like in german... is that called an umlaut?) once but i didn't mean it so i dunno how i did it!

    Sorry I'm not much help but go into accessories and system tools and select character map and you can get everything there...

  6. i do it by getting an example from the internet and copying it into the document. But using 'symbols' is a better way

  7. Nick22 has given you most of them but I wish he'd tell me how to get a circumflex (^) over a 'w' and a 'y' for Welsh. I can do î, ô, ê, û and â but not for w and y.

  8. Go to Wal-Mart and buy a Mexican Keyboard.
