To add friends go to wii messages then that notepad thing at the bottom left and add frineds. you need their wii friend code first. to find your own just look at the pad.

the shop channel has no viruses and is completely safe. you can buy old games such as super mario 64, and even the original mario bros. i recommend just looking at the things there.
