How do you put in gameshark codes for pokemon fire red in visual boy advance?

Every time i put in any code it says codes seem to work for different game while i got it from the gameshark web site.

I know what you mean. I tried the same thing and got the same answer. Just google for gameshark codes. Best sites are like supercheats, cheatguru, and others like that you'll find many different types and just try until you get one that works.

Check the version of fire red you have(US) n such. For mine the code still worked, although it SAYS its for another game.

I also get the same problem.  However some cheats still work for me. Money cheats and item cheats have worked, whereas Pokemon modifiers don't seem to work.  Try www.gamefaqs.com

Make sure you save your game before you try to cheat, because it can mess up your game.  Save both ways (in game save, and quick saves)
