How do you put on a swimming cap so water wont get in?

everytime i use a cap, my hair is wet. how do i prevent it?

a cap is not supposed to keep your hair dry, it's supposed to make you swim faster.

put your hair in a bobble at the top of your head twist it and then put it in a bun, put the cap on and au viola, if this doesn't work, you might need a tighter cap.

I've heard to pull it on from the back first.... the back of your neck is often what gets the wettest and needs the tighest fit

well i have a pretty tight cap...but water still gets in. But if you are really desperate wear a shower cap under it and bobby pin it to your hair. and that way the water wont get in.
