  1. I've never used mineral foundation, but have heard a lot of good things. One thing you can do is apply your foundation with a sponge instead of fingertips. Also some foundations are meant to have more coverage then others and some are meant to look matte, luminous natural. If I were you, I would try going to a makeup counter like Clinique and have one of the consultants show you some pointers. Sephora is a good place for that as well.

  2. yOU SHOULD TRY MINERAL MAKEUP. GO TO A LOCAL STORE OR TRY RAW MINERALS..........

  3. mineral foundation might work, but it might give you that over-done powdery look. i still think liquid foundation works best to look natural. if you want it to look really light and natural, apply it with a wet makeup sponge and blend. it softens it up a bit.

  4. you aren't supposed to notice foundation, it's supposed to look like you have clear skin.

idk about mineral foundation i've never tried it.

Get a shade that matches your skin tone perfectly.

You could also try tinted moisturizer.

  5. Use a sponge, and blotch it on!

DO NOT rub it, with your fingers or anything else,

it will end up looking cakey and smeared.

And yes, a mineral foundation will help :)

  6. use sponge in applying your foundation

  7. I only use bare minerals. It looks really natural and is really lightweight. Not only does it cover up any imperfections, but it clears up my acne.

  8. One simple answer, bareminerals! It comes with a dvd that tells you how to put it on and everything. Its amazing! And dont get the cheap knock off mineral foundation. Make sure its the TRUE  BareMinerals.  :)

  9. mineral makeup is the best for that .

    sheercover is good

  10. Use a lightly tinted moisturiser and then some mineral loose powder over the top its very light and natural

  11. yeah i think so i like the bare minerals it seems to help because i had the same problem too !! and i used covergirl and it did really cover me !! lol it jsut looked gross but yeah try something like that !! (:

  12. heres a simple tip

after you put the foundation on take a slight damp make up sponge and blend from the inside and work your way out......

  13. Put anything on in moderation and it will look more natural

I like MAC studio fix powder foundation over some concealer

    Less is more

  14. my skin complexion is tan with yellow undertones. and i've tried many different foundations from covergirl to marykay! but as of right now my favorite is physicians formula. they have mineral foundations. (well actually, all their makeup is mineral!) and it works the best, it blends well and gives me a natural glow. people can barely tell i have makeup on! so i'd go with that ;]

  15. Try finding a foundation that's really close to your skin colour. I've never used mineral so I dont know about that.

  16. if using a liquid put a small amount of foundation in your hand and mix it with a really light moisturizer... it's even a good idea to do when using a mineral makeup... apply mineral then under eyes and on nose apply small amount of moisturizer so you still have a youthful dewy look to your skin

  17. mineral is definetely better for that. I use Physician's formula and it really works just as good or better than Bare Minerals. It pfovides the perfect amount of coverage and looks like i'm not wearing any makeup at all. What also helps finish your natural look is having a nice light pink blush on your cheeks, not too dark or it takes away from your natural beauty.

If you have a liquid foundation right now what really helps it look natural is put a little foundation on your nose, both cheeks, and chin. Then take a sponge (makeup sponge, not like a dishwater sponge) and rub it in. It really makes it look a LOT better and more natural compared to when i rub it in with my fingers.

  18. Mineral foundation will help, and what I do (and works great!) is to get two colors, one lighter, one darker, than your skin, and blend them together to get the perfect complexion.

This helps since your skin tans and pales throughout the year and this way it's customizable!!

    Good luck :)
