How do you put the shows you tape on TIVO, on your computer?

I want to put stuff on youtube or make videos on Windows Video Maker... how can I add shows and movies to my computer from the TV?

I actually do this pretty often.  I Tivo a lot and then download the shows to my computer then my iPod.  Tivo has software called Tivo Desktop that you install on your computer which will let you download your Tivo'd shows.  The only thing is that your Tivo has to be connected to your network as well as the computer
