How do you quote a long quote in a paper...APA format?

Heres the format I used:

Paragraph before double spaced.

Quote in block format. (whole thing indented in) Not double spaced.

My teacher wrote for me to revise it but I dont know what she means. She wrote " Check format. Should be double spaced. Good that you used block format for long quote." I assume that I should leave it in block format but just double space. Im confused though because I thought for APA you leave a long quote single spaced??? Everywhere I look online for a sample it is single spaced. Any explanation as to why she wants it double spaced?

  1. hey try eazypaper out and see if it helps you, it's got an insert reference form that will format your citation correctly as per APA format so maybe it'll help


  2. As far as I know, single-spaced is correct.  You should show her what you've found online and ask her to clarify.
