How do you quote from yahoo answers?

for an essay like I need to use a quote from an answer.

  1. First , you quote and then , at the bottom of the page, give the real person who made the quote, all of the credit.Or you could say, BLAH BLAH -the quote and the persons name-then the rest of the sentence. Put the persons name in parenthesis.


  2. Take caution in quoting an answer that you have not researched yourself after receiving the answer.  Many answers are opinions or guesses rather than fact.  Because the internet changes quickly and evolves, the standards for referencing also change, and my answer may already be out of date.

    An example of a reference might be:

    Richard L., "REPLY: How do you quote from yahoo answers?" in Yahoo Answers <copy and paste the yahoo address for that answer here>, 14 April 2008.

  3. Use this:

    http://www.noodletools.com/login.php

    Pick you bibliography format then choses 'Web forum (Message Board)'.

    Then fill in all the information and it will do the rest.
