How do you "feel" after watching this video?

OK, so the video now works.

I feel a great sympathy for the man that has clearly experienced something (alien or not) that has caused great trauma in his life.

As usual I feel disgust toward skeptics that claim the mantle of science while being unqualified to make an assessment. Having a person like Joe Nickell (PhD in English) explain this man's experience away as a fantasy prone personality  without testing the individual is bad science from a person unqualified to speak about mental health/psychological assessments.

I saw more convincing displays  from old-timer trekkies complete with Spock ears. my emotions range from bored to annoyed to disbelief at these pathetic attempts at conspiracy theory

Dramatized reenactments of events which may or may not have happened usually don't move me. I'm not a big fan of the drama mode of information sharing. I have no strong emotional feelings to report, though I always feel bad for people who have experiences, whether grounded in reality or not, which negatively impact them. I think it's important to help these people who report having abduction experiences to cope either by helping them to understand the natural non-alien explanations (e.g., the importance of skeptical inquiry) or by getting professional help in learning how to understand the experience. Joe Nickell's investigative skills, experience as an investigator and education/experience in researching folklore make him a good resource for trying to understand what happened with this person.

Deenie I think you'd like Joe Nickell, he's a down-to-earth fellow, a paranormal investigator, AND a poet!

Okay, I watched it but it didn't make me feel anything emotionally.

It was hard to hear what he was saying, did he really say they forced him to impregnate an alien female and 9 offspring were born?

Wonder whether this guy did suffer some sort of trauma as a 5 yo - raped by a stranger or something.

Is there anything about him on the 'net apart from youtube?

Pretty creeped out. The fellow has had quite an experience that I hope never happens to me. It's difficult to fathom that such things can happen and leave such a scar, and yet no solid proof.

I feel amused.If Joe Nickell had supported this persons story.His PHD in English would be a feather in his paranormal cap.

I can easily explain what has happened to this poor bloke. In the 60's teenages experimented with LSD this guy obviously took quite a bit.

I'm not overly worried.  Things that come out during hypnosis are notoriously unreliable.  Notice they show the people's hypnotic response, but not the prompting that got them there.  It's not like, if hypnosis is legitimate (which is debatable), you go into hypnosis and automatically start reliving whatever.  The hypnotizer has to prompt you in some way to retrieve the correct information, which is never shown on these kind of things.  I also didn't like the snippets of the report on the shard from his leg.  They were giving ominous quotes, but not any real information.  What were it's mysterious characteristics?  They were being deliberately obscure to heighten the audiences sense of mystery, which throws the whole thing into question.  I also laughed when he was taking about the forced crossbreeding.  Maybe in a lab an advanced technology could splice different species DNA, but not a "bedroom", if you catch my meaning.  The brother corroborating the story with "we were inside a dome" and living in a flying saucer shaped house?  Laughable.
